Here it is, the end of March.  Where'd the year go so far?  TIme to do the income taxes.
There were 16 this morning, if you include W0LTL - Mike who was late. AA7HX - Ted is taking a vacation for about 5 weeks so we'll be missing him.

If you missed the RST hamfest the 16th, you missed a good one.  The boys & girls from that group did a fine job and the RST Spring Hamfest/Swapmeet was very successful. I think they're considering another hamfest in May.  Here's the link to the pictures:  We had a new face this morning, KF7IYP - Mike, who lives in the desert near Sonoyta and came for breakfast having volunteered to assist me in tearing apart my old Johnson Valiant.  The VFO was the problem.  Thank you, Mike!  We hadn't seen KB7KKU -Basil & KB7LCT - Betty for a while and even K7IOU - Dave showed up!  There were 21 attending this morning.  

Nice morning if you like dreary and cloudy with sprinkles of rain.  I hope this is the last hurrah!  Our man Bruce didn't show up, he says he was in bed resting.  Don't forget next week is the ham fest at the Golden Corral parking lot at 22nd and Columbus, so there'll be few show up for breakfast, I'd guess unless they want to eat there before the event.  There were 17 attending breakfast this morning!

Still a bit chilly in the mornings.  It was just above 32 when I left the house.  Suppose to warm up to 80 today for a change.  We had a prodical son return from Texas this morning, none other than N5YGU - Jamie (ex KF7CNM) with his XYL and daughter. I looked through the archives and I just couldn't find Jamie's daughter's name.  Jamie, let me know.  Plus we had a couple of new faces show up for the first time at Jerry Bob's and Ray and Vourneen were here too.  Oops, forgot to take AE7YQ - Bill's picture!  Here's one from a couple weeks ago!  

Did you survive the Blizzard of 2013?  I'll admit it was unusual for Tucson, but for us midwesterners, it wasn't much to write home to Mom about.  Anyway, the sun is shining and a bit cool.  Suppose to warm up for a bit.  Good to see NO7P - Don make it this morning.  Went to the American Antiques Mall over on Grant where they had the Arizona Antique Radio Club swap meet.  Anyway, there were a few old timers there with some old radios & junk. Dang!  W0LTL - Mike got away before I could take his picture.  Plus, I didn't let anyone prove I was there.  I'll pull pictures from the SADXA meeting.

Rain and snow in the high foothills. Maybe this is the last hurrah for winter.  Who knows with all this global warming, no?  

We had a guest from Minnesota this morning.  Ben is settling his father's estate and has quite a list of equipment including lots of boatanchors and a Kenwood TS-830 he'd like to dispose of quickly.  Anyway, Ben, welcome to Jerry Bob's breakfast.  KE7GUM - Leland brought a couple of YL guests this morning, as you will see below.  Manny Sr. says he might be moving to Boston for work.  Manny!  That's the wrong direction!

Guess what, it's raining.  Look who showed up after a long hiatus. We were beginning to wonder what had happened to Robert.  Glad you made it.  Looks like we had 13 show up this morning even if it was a bit damp.  We need the rain!  Geez, I wasn't paying attention, I missed taking Leland's picture and didn't get anyone to take mine.

Not quite as cold as it has been.  It's suppose to be a great weekend for the and there's over 350 teams from all over competing.  If you're into soccer, this is the time.  We had 14 show up this morning.

It feels almost like that this morning.  It was 19 coming down Bear Canyon and when I got home it was all the way up to 23.  Ok, I give up, enough winter!  We had 10 this morning.  Only the purists were out, it's just cold!  This phone camera sucks.  You can't get the white balance to work not matter what mode you use.  Look at the bricks in the background. Plus it'll focus about anywhere it wants.  KD7TXO's picture is the only one that was even close and maybe WA1BZQ's.

The New Year has passed and here we are inspite of Obama or the Mayan end of the world.  There's lots on the page to start the new year, including the 2012 Review and the pictures taken at today's Jerry Bob's Breakfast.  Also, check out the link above, there's news there too.  So, see if you made the line up for 2012. I don't know what kind of machine AE7YQ - Bill had there, but it looks like he was lighting up KE7GUM - Leland with a heart starter.  Hmmmm.  If you look very close you might see the very thin trace of smoke coming from Leland's ears.
