I have to report that I won't be taking pictures next Saturday. If someone takes some pictures, I'll post them later. I have to take Mom back to Illinois and I'll probably be back before the following Saturday. We had good group this morning with a new face who came to get a couple of witnesses to his 500 or so county hunter submission. Hey, guess who's back with his new knee! I think there were 26 there this morning. I missed a couple...sat too close to them!

Ah, not so cold this morning. A couple of the folks went to Mesa for the swap meet, however, we did have one new face. Welcome Ray, and hope that you show up for breakfast often. We're hoping that Don - NO7P is doing OK. Haven't heard from him this week. We had 20 this morning.

Saturday, 27 November 2010 BRRRR! It was 25 coming down Bear Canyon this morning. Bring back the heat!! We were missing a couple this morning. Don - NO7P is walking with a cane but can't drive yet so he didn't make it. Some not so good news, WB9TPD - Lee is in UMC with a respiratory problem and according to Bruce - WA1BZQ, Lee is in good spirits. I think Bruce has his phone number and info. We also had new faces as shown below. I was good to see N7YG's XYL for the first time. The second couple recently had the good sense to move from Indiana to Tucson. Welcome to Jerry Bob's breakfast! Talked to and he got out of the hospital yesterday...finally. He had a rough go of it. Glad you're home, Don! Our special guests today are W1HJT's brother Ralph, also a six-lander transplant from Mississippi, Tom and a local UofA Radio Club member, Jeff. Hey! Where's ?? Maybe he is riding in the Tour with ? Cool this morning! It was 32 as I came down Bear Canyon. Looks like Jeff is getting in the spirit a bit early, no? Missing in action is Don - NO7P who had a new knee installed on the 3rd and he's still in the hospital. His phone in the hospital is 322-7850. Also missing &

. Ray had a medical procedure and it didn't work out too good and he's missed the last couple of weeks. Hope you hurry up and get well, Ray. Also, where was

? On the way home, I stopped at the Ace on Bear Canyon and snapped a few pictures. I wonder how many years it's been since I knew that it's an "Ardun" flat head conversion kit, not "Auburn". The rest of the pictures are at the bottom. We had 17 today.

Saturday, 6 November 2010 Sure is nice WX we're having. Our group was a bit short this morning. We had a new face, a visitor from Massachusetts, a friend of W1KSZ's. Also had sad news. Jamie - KF7CNM, his daughter and Mary Ann are moving to Texas. Maybe we'll hear from his on Echolink. Missing a few faces this morning: These folks are pretty regular in attending Hope all is OK with all of them. We had 19 this morning.

Very beautiful morning. I even put on long pants for a change. However, by 11:00, I was ready for the shorts. The XYL is back! And here's a shot of my first meal she cooked up. Wow! There's more than one reason I'm married to this lady! Mmmmm! Click on that picture. Pinapple and red peppers! Well, I suspect that this guy, was doing the CW Worldwide this morning. He doesn't miss many breakfasts. We had the Buchanans for their semi-annual visit as you will see. I think there were 24 there this morning.

It's been two weeks since we had breakfast at Jerry Bob's since there was a Saturday OPRC Swapmeet and Ham Fest and the Ham Radio Picnic on Sunday. I took lots of pictures and here are the links:

You will see that our girl Cheree came to the hamfest and had her picture taken with several of the breakfast crowd. She's working at Gus Balon's on 22nd now. Guess who was missing....where was ? He's missed the last two breakfasts.

Saturday, 9 October 2010 What a beautiful morning. It was 48 as I came down Bear Canyon and I had a jacket. There were 23 this morning. There were a couple of old faces that showed up this morning and I received an e-mail from and he says he'll be back in a couple weeks from his chores back east. Our mainstay was not in his regular seat today. He has to WORK! Also, traveled back to the mid-west to visit family & property. Rumor has it that will be back in towy this evening. Maybe he'll bless us with his presence at breakfast Saturday after next! Oh yes, that reminds me.... Don't forget the OPRC Ham Fest and Swap Meet next Saturday morning!
