 Kamaras,
Rev. Dr. John TUCSON, Ariz. Rev. Dr. John A. Kamaras, Tucson, Ariz.,
died suddenly August 18, 2011. John served in the U.S. Air Force from
1954 to 1964. He was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1969 and
received his doctorate in 1985. John served as head chaplain at St.
Peter's Hospital from 1985 to 1989 and was director of a counseling
center in Albany from 1989 to 1995. John and his wife lived in Florida
where he served as a hospice chaplain until 2000. John and his wife were
full time RVers until 2007, when they settled in Arizona. John is
survived by his wife, Gail; his children, John Paul and Laura Kamaras;
his stepchildren, Walter Forest and Jessica Bowers and seven beloved
grandchildren.
