Wow! What a
group! You would have to say that the Tucson Hame Radio Picnic was
a success. According to KD7UIZ - Don ,
one of the folks that make the picnic a success, there were 125
who signed the roster! So many that there are TWO
Ham Radio Picnic pages. You'll see. The word must have gotten out. There
were people from all over Southern Arizona who attended. KB5B -
Terry
would have been proud! Terry is the one who spearheaded the
original NASA "Eyeball QSO Picnic" events. You can find
several years of picnic pictures in the archives.
Of course, there were the
Radio in the Park group doing their thing. Click the Logo to go to
the FaceBook page for the group! Once again, Scott - K7ADX
had his quadcopter
flying all over the place shooting video. Pictures are
below. The food was good, the camaraderie was good, the weather
was good, what more could you ask for?
Below are the main movers
and shakers for the picnic. Chris and Angie work very hard to make
the picnic go and, once again, they did a great job. Many others
help, but just a few make it really happen. Thanks Chris &
Angie!
