Today is Field Day and I expected a short crew !  Well, that didn't
happen, we had twenty with the Jerry Bob's crew scrambling for
seats.  Ed - KE7INF showed up from a very long absence and as you
will see, Lee 'Lectric brought his world famous "E-Bicycle" !!
We had a pretty good time of it.

Mommy, can I have one ???

It was a full house this morning with twenty-one showing.  They
were scattered all over the restaurant.  We had a good time of it
and even had a couple new faces as shown below.

I guess that the big VHF contest kept a bunch of folks occupied this
morning since the group was fairly small.  As Lee says, "We had
fun. That's what it's all about !"..and we did.

Wow !  We tied the record this morning with twenty-five attending
breakfast.  The Jerry Bob's crew was jumping around trying to find
seats for everyone and we still had to break into a couple more
tables.  It was a good group to say the least.  

We had a very special guest this morning, Jack - W7NOG, who made
breakfast for the first time.  Jack is my neighbor and I've told him a
dozen times that I can swing by and pick him up, but he decided to
come on his own.  Then we had a group of YLs , the family of Dave -
N7OXL, as you will see below.   It's sure nice to see some youthful
folks getting involved with amateur radio !  Congratulations !!!!

Too bad the long table wasn't long enough.  We just flat ran out of room.  Including the round table group, we had the whole west side of the restaurant covered.

P.S.  I think Tom - W7ZBS was sneezing in one of the pictures.

It's getting warmer !  We had a nice group this morning including
the e-Car crew, Lee & Nancy.  We haven't seen too much of them
for the past few months so it was good to see them.  Lee made a
special presentation to Jeff - AJ7EF.  I can't think of why.  Can you ?

The long lost KB7XL returned and WA1BZQ had to work !  Ugh !

Adam - KC7DVF was accompanied by his XYL, Gracie, and you can
see their pictures below.   Good picture of Adam !!

I had printed pictures of Stan, David & Patty, but they didn't show up !

  All-in-all, it was a good breakfast meeting !

What happened to spring?  Snow on the mountains?  This ain't
Tucson !  Well, we had breakfast anyway.  Give Al-Gore a call and
let him know he was right !   There were a couple new faces too.  
Glad you folks made it to breakfast !

Another morning in paradise !  I guess the gas crunch has folks
thinking they don't wanna' waste gas driving to Jerry Bob's.  In
any case, they missed a good group this morning.

We went to Gregg White's celebration of life Thursday evening
over in the Picture Rocks area and it was an impressive ceremony.
There were about two hundred fifty people there including the NW
Fire Department Color Guard and the Picture Rocks FD too.  Needless to say, Gregg had a positive effect on many folks during
his short time on this earth.  God bless his family and may he rest
in peace.  We're going to miss the Commander.

studying for her license now.  Good luck to her for that !

We had a very nice morning, cool temperature and clear skys;
It was chamber of commerce weather.  We had a new face and
a couple old ones.  Here are the pictures.  I shoulda' check to
make sure Bob's eyes were open.  Oh well, it's still not a bad pic !

I took a couple pictures of Chuck & Tammy along with Bruce to
demonstrate the wide angle of the camera lens.  You can see below.

I stopped by Craig's (KD7TXO) place where he and Gary - N1DHS
were in the process of getting Gary's MSR-5000 repeater tweaked
for 449.800.  After watching the fun for a while, I came home to
post the pictures. 

Considering the fact that the CARA was having a swap meet in
Sierra Vista this morning, we had quite a group of  folks including
a couple new faces and the return of the BART prodigal son
Lee - WB9TPD & Nancy.  It's been quite a while folks. 

Welcome to RST members Adam - KC7DVF and Bob - W7USN.

 As you will see, Lee presented a much needed device to
Basil - KB7KKU.  I think you will get the idea.

I hope the WX holds like this until about August, a nice 50 in the AM
and in the 80s during the day.  No such luck, I'm dreaming !

Nice group this morning, however, no new faces...just some old
ones...speak for yourself John !  I had a lot of help with the picture
taking and would you believe that Jesus got left out of the picture !
I'll just have to include him anyway.



Went to an old car show at the Hilton on Broadway and there were
a bunch of good ones there.  I posted a couple pictures below.

If you've look at my web page, you can find my first car, a 1947
Chrysler New Yorker 3 Passenger Business Coupe.  I found out
than in 1946 thru 1948, they only made 701 of those guys.  Man!
If I'd have know that, I might have kept it.  Live & learn ! 

What a large group we had this morning (18) which included a new
ham with an old call and we even had a visitor from Phoenix who
was eating there at Jerry Bob's and stopped by to say hello.  We 
could have had 19 if Mike - W0LTL had managed to get there in time
to eat !  Tell Lillian to kick you outta' bed a little earlier, Mike !

WE7DOG - STAN

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood !  There were 14 this
morning and it was good to see Chuck & Tammy after more than
a couple months.   I don't know why I missed Deacon Don because
I sat right across from him, but he was there !  Jeff was trying to
measure up, as you will see.  We had a good time !

We had a nice group of 13 this AM.  The WX is still perfect and it's
great getting up early and the sun is up and shining brightly.

As those who attend the breakfast know, we've had a change of
crew at the Jerry Bob's, so here they are.  Next week, they will
take the place of honor at the top of the page.  Don't worry !  I'll
have a prominent link to Trixi's crew.  We miss them, but it's
time to move on !   Check out the guy in the back posing nicely !!
