We had a couple special guests including Larry - KC2FMH, back from Prague for a visit, James - KC9LXT visiting from Illinois and finally, Basil - KB7KKU & Betty - KB7LCT came out of hibernation and showed up for the breakfast ! Don't know why I didn't get a good one of Larry, however, he is in the archives from last fall. James is from Schaumberg, IL and we first met James on Echolink when he would connect to the WB9TPD Echolink conference and chat. Nice to see you James !

Saturday, March 22, 2008 This is the kind of weather that we brag about here in Tucson. You have to be here to believe it ! There were three new faces at the breakfast this morning, including a non-ham friend of Don - NO7P. We'll have to work on him to see we can get him interested in some radio fun. We missed the real-estate mogul, KD7UIZ - Don, who was missing in action -- something about coating his roof. And, just to let you know, Jesus is responsible for some of the more "candid" shots !!

It was absolutely beautiful this morning and we had the usual
suspects show up for breakfast. Glen - WA9GCK, Bill - W2NSG
and Ralph - WA7PWO were there. These three had been absent
for a long while. We had a good time even if Don - KD7UIZ and
Bruce - WA1BZQ were absent !

Here we have an absolutely gorgeous morning and I guess a bunch
of 'em stayed in bed ! We had a good time though ! We probably
won't see much of Dave - K0DMH because he's moving up around
Casa Grande or Marana...at the price of gas these days, he won't
be trucking down here for breakfast any more. Huh, Dave ?

Nice group this morning considering the picnic this afternoon
and the ham fest up in Scottsdale today. Anyway, we had a good

Saturday, February 9, 2008 The weather is getting better. It wasn't so darned cold this AM when I started out, however, the windshield had a dab of frost. We had a nice group this morning, Dave - K0DMH & Vicki showed up and so did Steve - KA8GVS & Yolly. Larry - KA7ILH says he's been flying, & I'll assume it was in an airplane !! Jeff - N7YG hasn't been to breakfast in a month of Sundays either. I'm not sure Jerry Bob's could handle all the folks if everyone showed up at the same time ! I even took a picture of one of the "Round-Table-Gang" and told him where to look for his picture. We'll see if he finds the link ! I ran a little late this morning since I had to take Sarah to work, so
I was relegated to the end of the table. It worked out well because
I swapped war stories with Dr. John - KE5AAA and, along with
Allan - KL7IEI, we had a good visit.

A cool morning indeed, however, several showed up including
a new face ! After breakfast, Tom - WA1BZQ, Tom - KB7XL,
Lee - WB9TPD, myself and Craig - KD7TXO visited the UAZ Radio
Club and did a checkout of the duplexer cans, coax, antenna and
made a tweak or two on the repeater. Nice view from the roof !
An Echolink interface is the next project for the repeater !

PS: No sign of Trixi yet !

going on there. The good news is that Hank - N2TYE made it
from Sparks, Nevada. It's been well over a year since he moved
