Welcome to the Class of 1957 Reunion Picnic !
26 August 2007
Thanks to the generosity of Bernie & David Schiver, we had a
wonderful time Sunday afternoon at their beautiful cabin in the
woods east of Oilfield.  Bernie & David provided delicious grilled
hamburgers with all the extras along with great entertainment.

We were entertained by David's stories and the Karaoke singing
of Terry Blanchard !  The skinny kid from Moriah had grown up
just a bit and it was quite a surprise for me when he began
belting out Elvis songs just about as good as the King himself !

As well, we learned that Terry's sister Linda Blanchard Jensen
could sing a pretty good tune, so it must be a family trait.

So it turned out to be the best class reunion that I have attended.
If you missed this one, in my humble opinion, you missed a
good one !  I hope that the next reunion is as much fun for all !

  Well, all good things must come to an end !  This reunion was one
for the books.  I'm not going to miss the next one for sure, God
willing, and the creek don't rise !
