Last year on 27 December, it was a very cold morning but I don't
think it made it as low as today. It was 22 when I crossed theTanque
Verde Wash. We didn't hang in the parking lot very long today.

This is the picture I snapped last year on the way home. Look at all

Wow! Christmas is almost here. We had a great time with 26 showing up this chilly morning. We also had a couple new faces as you will see. Jeff was in good spirits and brought his faithful companion "Dog". He was a good hound and didn't make a sound the whole breakfast. Pink, however, brought Jimmy and he was much more active than Dog. I passed the this morning and collected the ARCA dues from everyone this morning so Dave won't have to hock the family jewels to pay for the BART this year. Note Dave saluting. He had a mishap and will be out of business and won't be twisting the VFO with that hand for a few weeks, I'd say. Here's hoping you all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

CHEREE IS HAVING A BIRTHDAY TOMORROW !!

Well !! I was just plain COLD this morning. Winter has set in to Tucson. It was 25 as I crossed the Tanque-Verde Wash this
morning. Let's hope it warms up for Christmas. I didn't hang around this morning gabbing with everybody. I just turned on the
heated seat and headed home. John - W2CRS brought in a strange looking antenna he made and the hardware cost less than
twenty bucks. Says it works pretty good for the size and band...40 meters. What do you think? Looks like he's lifting weights.

Hey! Where was ? Do you suppose it was just too cold for the bicycle. Now that I think of it, didn't show up either. Oh, I forgot, was in bed with a cold. Get will soon.

Guess what today is! It's Tour de Tucson. The streets are full of bicycles. I'm almost afraid to go to breakfast
because Snyder will be full when I get ready to come home. Because of the race, there were several absent

Well, it has that winter time feel in the air this morning with the temperature about 53 when I left the house. There's
a bit of humidity since it's very cloudy and it might rain a drop or two, who knows? There was a full table this
morning with a new face and an old one that showed up after a long absence.
This guy was missing and that's not normal for him and has been missing for two
straight breakfasts and I was looking for Jerry Bob's to fall down from the shock of his absence.

It's almost Halloween and it was nice and cool this morning, about 45 degrees. Nice. We had "goodyprague"
show up this morning. He's back from Prague to see the "Whitecoats" for a week. Check out the hat. Other
than that, it was a normal group of hams that showed up. Our newest ham didn't show up this
morning. What's up with that? By the way there were 23 this morning.
