Thanks to Bob and Sandy Cochonour, our 62nd Gathering of the Class of 1957 turned into a true reunion.  This picture was taken at the 60th. Somehow, your photographer failed to get a photo of them together this time.  In any case, the turnout was more than expected, and Bob and Sandy were very gracious hosts, opening their beautiful home to all and making it all happen.  It was wonderful to see all of our classmates who attented, the food was great and the camaraderie was wonderful.  Again, thank you, Bob and Sandy!

We had a short meeting with Gene Sutherland giving the blessing and
Bob Cochonour read the names of the 42 Classmates who are not longer with us.  In addition, he said that of the Class of 1957, 68 percent of the boys and one girl had served in the military.  Finally, it was agreed that we would have a gathering in three years which would be our 65th.  We then enjoyed our BBQ, hamburgers and hotdogs, along with a variety of dishes brough by our classmates.  We had a great time.  It was decided that it might be difficult to have a class picture due to mobility issues.  Below are the pictures taken.

Mrs. Doris Lee, the only remaining teacher of the Class of 1957, attended our reunion.  Earlier that morning, she had competed in a 5K Walk, and of course, she won her class.  Way to go, Mrs. Lee!

She commented that of all the classes that she had taught, our group seemed special.  Indeed, Mrs. Lee, we feel the same about you.  You laid the foundation for us to succeed. Thank you.
